West Auckland Survivor Hub

A safe space to connect and be heard

The West Auckland Survivor Hub is a service provided by the West Auckland Mental Health Support Trust as part of Te Ata — a place where survivors of abuse in state care can meet, connect, and support one another.
About The Hub

Our purpose is to make a space where survivors can find each other

Survivors have a place where they can build trust without being judged, and have a chance to speak about their experience if they choose. Members are given an opportunity to talk about current life situations and gain support from the group.

State Care

Includes experiences in foster homes, schools, and hospitals that were overseen or operated by the state.

Faith-Based Care

Includes experiences in churches and religious schools where harm or abuse took place within a faith setting.
